This is a joke song that my roommate (Chris Grandy) and I put together after my girlfriend refused to talk to me one night unless it was between one of her favorite TV shows. I asked her, "What, am I your commercial boyfriend or something?" (because she’d only talk to me during the commercials).
Then I realized that "Commercial Boyfriend" was a terribly bad emo song (well, I guess "bad" and "emo" are redundant) waiting to happen.
We threw this together in probably 2 hours.
