Neal Schmitt Nicely done. I'm sure it's cos I know her but I was pretty gripped. Story takes a sec to get revved up. Your intro tease is perfect, so maybe that's ok. Lots of great music cues. narration is super clean - levels seem spot on! Did her Doctors ok her stopping the medication? is she in counseling? What do you think the overall lesson is - not try modern medicine? That's kinda how it comes across. Have a solid support structure? (totally minor quibble) Ending is kinda quick but I'm not sure what I'd change. I think it may be the quick, loud exit music. I get the lyrics are poignant but it's still a bit jarring. (totally minor quibble) Really great job, sir.

icarus i did not expect to hear a xylophone in this but it works. great movie intro, gives time for an establishing montage, and the tambourine shake lets you get right into it.

andrewplassman the guitar part is sweet but you cant hear it too well over the bass. I love that synchronized xylophone thing! awesome. TURN ME UP! haha nice job on the drums too. especially for not being a canned loop. grooovy!

Neal Schmitt nice song. I like where this one is going! There's lots of good stuff here, if only the lead guitar was fully in tune. Ouch. again, this songs seems dry. the drum programming is good, but add some reverb. Guitars could use some reverb also. Everything being this dry just doesn't sound finished, especially with sample sounds. The synchopated xylophone part is a nice touch of complexity. There's lots of cool layers. Shakers are a nice touch

mschoenitz Heck yes! This is awesome. All the panning and the sweet chorus. I like the sound of the kick a lot also.

andrewplassman this song is by far your best. The drums sounded great, panning was tasteful, and the levels were perfect! loved it! Andrew Plassman says "2 thumbs up!"!

Neal Schmitt I'm a sucker for that intro drum beat. That's a sure fire way for me to like the song. Shaker and tambourine are nice touches - just pan them away from each other - not only makes the songs wider but gives each sound its own space. Panning on the pad is cool. It's cool that there are two distinct parts. Nice. The double tracked guitars sound thick. they volume is a bit polite. I like that they're panned wide. There's a bit of"offness" to the parts but otherwise they sound good. BTW, I'm listening on headphones. Overall, the song's a bit dry - which gives it that demoish quality. Everything's there - just touch and maybe toughen up the mix.

Neal Schmitt I wrote it once and I'll write it again - DI guitar =boo! At the least, a little amplitude would go a long way - just to round out the sound, maybe a bit of spring reverb even. The storm sounds cool The drum programming sounds good. The high-hat is a bit static but that's always the case with sampled cymbals, how do you make them realistic? Automate the volume, automate the ADSR, automate some filters, it's going to be random. nice going with the 6/8 though. That's a bit of streching your creativity. Song kinds ends aburptly though. What happened?
