Neal Schmitt This piece is serious. You did a great job honestly telling his story, making J and sympathetic character but obviously not glamorizing his lifestyle. The music cues - wow! - they frame this piece nicely as well.

Neal Schmitt The bass part is cool. I think there's one note in question but it's cool. The sound needs to be a bit tougher though. The DI sound is so flat. It needs that bright, grindy sound. The vox is cool. Double tracked might have worked in this case. Did you try it? the layers of sounds that you have are cool - makes for a complex listen - there's unique sounds in each ear that are simple enough not to compete but different enough to provide a cool texture.

Neal Schmitt I miss the phone ringing, kinda distant panned to the left - oh wait, that was my phone ringing. sorry. There's some good tension in here, especially in the first 30 seconds. You can just tell its building. There's a Nightmare on Elm street vibe going on. the panning of the chain is creepy. more reverb maybe? the layers of strings sound good too. and it ends with a fade that I can hear. NICE!
