Xander Roseberry Good things: Drum panning is cool Nice verb on the vocals The effect on the horns is AWESOME. I like the repeat of "Capital G" The wash at the end it nuts. Was that the crowd noise? It's a little too intense at the end for me. There's a lot of volume, but overall it's quite enjoyable.over 2 years ago
Micah Haseman Sweet mix, alot of other mixes have panned vocals but the back and forth drums are awesome. Like Xander said the reverb on the vocals was perfect. Also right when the chorus hit the song opened up pretty nicely and it felt like thats what the song should sound like. There is a lot of panning going on throughout the whole song but most of the instruments pan at just the right times so that they all fit. Also that end noise is great.over 2 years ago

Kyle Behnfeldt Great mix. I like the vocals up front and they are easy to hear. The drums and guitars also sound very good together. The kick drum isn't easily audible, but I had the same problem. Nice placement with the backing vocals also. Overall, it sounds very good.over 2 years ago

McAlister vs. Jackson i really liked it. the chorus outro was a little dragged out. really liked the ending. maybe put a little less reverb on the back ground vocals towards the end. overall really good job, very smooth.over 2 years ago
Micah Haseman Way to think outside the box on this. I like the reverb you have set on the vocals, it's not to heavy, but it's noticeable and feels natural. The bridge lyrics that you put in the beginning sounded a little forced, maybe if you just left a few key phrases in that would help. I really liked the syncopated percussion at the end it was pretty fluid entering in from the bridge but it felt a little empty without the accompanying instruments, almost like the song "fell out" dynamically when the guitars and string section dropped at the end. But overall it was a pleasing mix to hear, the levels were not overbearing at all, and it felt like you had all the tracks sitting together nicely.over 2 years ago

Neal Schmitt Great job nick. I like the loud solos. The drums are nice and loud. The bass in the breakdown sounds clean. Interesting use of panning. I tend to keep the kick, snare, bass and lead vox up the middle. Your mix is more Paperback Writer! Keslie's voice seems a bit loud in the chorus. Maybe turn her down a notch.about 3 years ago
