andrewplassman the bells reminded me of high school announcements. the creek sounded good. the mids seemed to be boosted a ton but i liked it. I liked it a lot. sounded like it could be a background song for a video game. ever heard of the game Earthbound for Super Nintendo? This song EXACTLY fits in that game. my favorite.about 4 years ago
Neal Schmitt Water as a accent sound? That sounds wild, like where you'd use a tambourine. So cool! Add some delay to the chimey sound to add subtle complexity - the part is simple and I like that, calm should be simple, right? but just a hint of delay will add a nice layer that, for the average listener, might only reveal itself on repeated listens Layer the strings with another sound when they come back in the second time for added interest. the samples sound good - babbling brook and birds. Sounds are well done. The snare, kick and bass seem to work together really well.about 4 years ago

jeff What season was this? Its good. It reminded my of like an 80's movie action moment. I liked how sounds came in and out of it. I can't tell what was recorded in pro-tools on this one, which is a good thing.about 4 years ago
andrewplassman I would say this would be Fall of 1982. kinda spooky sounding flute in the back ground and what sounded to be like plucking guitar strings above the nut! i enjoyed the experience. thank you!about 4 years ago
Neal Schmitt I like how this one starts. Nice rhythm - it's a great vibe. I think you could have even stuck with this throughout. Then there's the middle - where everything kind of settles - goes atmospheric a bit. Part 3 is the sprouting - slight changes to the moo via the new sounds there's some chimey/plucky sounds that is messing with the key. I like the first groove a lot - build a song around that!about 4 years ago

Neal Schmitt This is great!. The snare sounds awesome! Drum programming is good - static ride cymbal and tambourine never sound good for very long. Progression sounds great. Bass fills in the sonic range nicely - It's just that dang DI guitar - ARGH! The direct guitar sound has no personality. Add some Amplitude and double the guitar and you'd be into something great.about 4 years ago

Neal Schmitt Good vibe overall. I love the feedbacky ringing in the background. would love to hear that a bit louder, maybe pan back and forth to keep it from getting stale. The bass needs to be tightened up just a bit in few spots - either it's a bit ahead or behind. A few sporadic spots of interest in the stereo field would be good too - just kinda random bursts of noise - backwards piano - that sort of thing.about 4 years ago
