Karoliina Salminen is a indie musician and filmmaker.

I compose electronic music that has influences from Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk and perhaps a bit of DJ Tiesto. I compose sountracks for my own videos and sometimes do that to somebody else’s videos/films too.

I am using Apple Logic Studio for doing the music. I have some hardware synthesizers and controllers, effects and stuff too, like Access Virus b and Nord Modular and Electro-Harmonix Small Stone Phaser. I also have a Zoom H2 audio recorder that I nowadays use to record live sound/sound effects/speech/etc. That is mainly for video/filmmaking to replace the otherwise poor sound of the Canon EOS 5D mark II, but it is also great for making sound effects and live sounds for the music too.

If you are in need of some short video and you want HD quality (1080/24p/30p) with original soundtrack music, feel free to contact me. Especially projects that can be done locally here in Finland/Helsinki area would suit my schedule the best.
